Case Study
-
Being our first live in-person show since the pandemic we were ready to push out all the content we could get. From pre-production, set building, behind the scenes, and all earned media. I was able to create and coordinate all content to post daily.
This consistency allowed Walden to be one of our most profitable plays in the last two seasons, generating 1,266 live in-person ticket sales with 770 virtual ticket sales of 2,935 link clicks, selling 98% of available tickets; resulting in Walden being our most successful play in the 2021-22 season.

TheaterWorks Hartford offered a free showing for Hartford residents of Walden on the Hartford Yard Goats Jumbotron. The goal of this event was to bring new potential customers who are not as interested in theater to consume a TheaterWorks play and become returning consumers.
I targeted all Hartford residents on Facebook and kept the target market broad to bring in new audience members that might have not been interested in theater before seeing the ad. At the end of the first day, we reached 3,123 Facebook users and converted 127 link clicks. Sign-ups to the event increased from 2 through our E-Blast to 60 sign-ups through the Facebook Ad on the first day of the buy.

I was able to work and coordinate with the Assistant to the Director of Walden to make a video series of the making of Walden. We took interviews of the cast and creatives and put them on our social media in smaller pieces from the longer content.
